07 Aug Zoe & Chris’ bright spring wedding flowers
Zoe & Chris married all the way back in April (yes I have some catching up to do here!) and what a beautiful and bright spring wedding it was. Its not everyday (well hardly ever, never…) that your bride comes to you saying she loves orange and yellow flowers. I think people have a slight fear of the bright colours, but oh yes I loved the chance to have this beautiful colour palette which was absolutely perfect for seasonal spring flowers.
We used tulips, daffodils, ranunculus, hellebores, LOTS of spring blossom and the main event of the florals was the cotton flower! Zoe & Chris’ wedding was at Quarry Bank Mill in Styal, Cheshire. The church ceremony was followed by the reception in the old cotton mill, hence the all important cotton flower which gave a nod to the surroundings.
I really loved the flowers for this wedding; there was so much variation in textures and tones. On top of that spring flowers are probably some of the best scented flowers! Loved it and love the images captured by Natural Touch Photography below.
Congratulations Zoe & Chris! Looks like such a fab day and like you had a lot of fun!
